Green Android Mobile Phone from samsung- Samsung Replenish

Want more of the Samsung Replenish? Well here she be, folks. We've mentioned that it's made of more than 80 percent recycled materials. And it's got the Sprint Green ID pack. But what really piqued our interest was the solar-powered battery cover.

We go hands-on with Sprint's first eco-friendly smartphone

Sprint Samsung Replenish
We met up with Sprint tonight in a cozy Chelsea bar and bring you our first look at theSamsung Replenish. It's Sprint's first eco-friendly smartphone, made in large part from recycled materials. The basic specs, if you recall, are a 2.8-inch touchscreen 600MHz processor and a meager 256MB of RAM and a 2MP camera. So high-end, it is not. But it is running Android 2.2, so it's go that going for it, which is nice.
What you've got is a relatively solid-feeling smartphone with a physical keyboard, something we've been sorely lacking on Android. The keys are decent enough, raised just the right amount with a little bit of curvature.
You also get four four physical buttons, in the menu-home-back-search configuration. The left-hand bezel sports the volume rocker, and the right hand has a voice-activation button and camera button. The power button and 3.5mm headphone jack are up top.
Pop off the back and you have access to the 1600mAh battery and microSD card, which you can swap out without having to remove the battery first.
All in all, if you're looking for an Android phone on Sprint with a physical keyboard, well, you've found it. It's not the fastest, but you will be the first kid on your block with a "green" smartphone.

HTC 16-Megapixel Window Phone INTRO

Anyone interested in a HTC device running Windows Phone with a massive 16MP camera and dual-LED flash?
It is an interesting prospect and it seems HTC is working on a phone packing a camera that would put some full-fledged digital cameras to shame but as we all know, pixel count is just one part of the digital imaging story.
Sensor size and how efficient the pixels are at capturing light and details are also important, no to mention the imaging software that is going to interpret all that data and turn it into a picture on a screen.
If this is all real and indeed happening, knowing HTC it won’t be a long wait till they actually launch the phone.

Facebook mobile now available for people tagging !!!

 Facebook tagging update
Facebook's Android app just got a little bit better as the social giant has pushed an update that adds in the ability to tag your friends in posts from within the app. Previously, you would have to load up the full website to get that functionality. As a reminder, to tag a friend you start by typing the "@" symbol and immediately start typing out the person's name. A box showing the most likely results pops up below the text entry field and you can close in on the person you want by typing more of their name.
Other features of version 1.5.3 include a "Find Friends" feature and the ability to add your phone number to your profile plus a smattering of bug fixes. Open the Android Market and go to "My Apps" to get the update or check out the download links past the break. Thanks to ZSearcy for the tip!

ANGRY BIRD LATEST SEASONAL EDITION - Angry Bird Seasons- Angry Bird Easter now available !!

Angry Birds Easter
Fire up the Android Market, folks, because Angry Birds Easter -- the latest seasonal edition of the ingenious Angry Birds Seasons -- is now available in the Android Market.
It's the same Angry Birds you've come to know and love, with a loose Easter theme tied in, so far as bunnies and eggs are concerned. Fling some Angry Birds, break some stuff, kill some pigs, free some eggs. We've got download links after the break.

Rovio Mobile has been on a roll lately with the huge hit the entire world knows as Angry Birds. I mean back in November Angry Birds had over 7 Million downloads on Android. Just think of everything they have done since then, with the Christmas seasons, and St. Patty’s Day.
The newly released Angry Birds Rio at Amazon , and everything else they are doing is nothing but a good sign for things to come. Hopefully each new season brings another excellent release to us over here in Androidville. We sure love our free angry birds.

Sensation's Sense 3.0 suit use on Desire HD??, needs some tailoring for it to fit

So you got all excited after seeing HTC's latest UI on the Sensation, but were dismayed to discover your hoary handset wouldn't be getting the same Sense 3.0 love? As usual, the folks at xda-developers have just the tonic for what ails you... as long as you own a Desire HD. Yup, a clever fellow by the name of capychimp took the Sensation's ROM and ported it to yesteryear's HTC European flagship phone. The port isn't perfect -- those who dive in will lose camera support and the images need some resizing to properly fit on the HD's 800 x 480 display -- but brave souls who hit the source link for the download still get all those mellifluous movements that Sense 3.0 provides. See all the smooth scrolling in action after the break.
